This ironically, (in retrospect), album marked my last collaboration with Oscar winning violinist S.K.Thoth or Thoth as he is now known. It was recorded in a Marin County studio that doubled as a rehearsal space for Bob Weir and Ratdog after the passing of Jerry Garcia.. Oh, the days of spending a ridiculous amount of money on making an album and then trying to recoup. We had honed our sound playing everywhere from Bart Stations to concert halls with extraordinary percussionist Michael Chiaravelotti only to be faced with a brand new guy a week before recording. I would later record Basscapes at the same studio..
